Let me tell you a little bit about me.
I am a registered nurse and worked for several years at an Ottawa hospital before leaving to stay home and raise my three children.
I have always tried to provide healthy meals at home but I am not perfect and did use my fair share of other oils and margarine for cooking. The shift to olive oil came five years ago after my diagnosis and treatment for breast cancer. I have tried to incorporate healthier choices into my lifestyle including extra virgin olive oil. After learning about all of the benefits, it was a no-brainer.
I hope you will enjoy visiting The Joy of Olives and leave with some of the freshest and finest olive oil the world has to offer. The white and aged dark balsamic vinegars are delicious and so much fun to sample.
